Remember the kind of gross lamps from a couple of weeks ago? Well, I bought them thinking I'd paint them a chic flat black and....

What do you think? (The other one's still drying as I write this.) Now I think they're kind of rocking a neoclassical look. Love the flat black.

When I find the right room for them, I'll post another pic!

Take me down like I'm a domino...

Trying to finish up some projects and I've been balancing out the extra work by going on some runs. I saw the video to one of the songs on my playlist and love the "wallpaper" backgrounds--they remind me of Barbara Hulanicki's line for Graham & Brown!

There's a party in your bedroom all night long...

This weekend the rain stopped in time to let me do some crafty things in the back yard. You know I loves me some spray paint, so when we had to get our older cat some steps for our super high bed (previous post), I decided to customize them a bit. The cheap prefinished wood of these steps was horrible--their varnish/finish was off-gassing for days in my back room!

I couldn't deal with the color, either, so I primed and painted them with Rustoleum glossy Almond

Sooo much better then before. Now our little guy can get into bed!
